This very unusual mask has a fun and extraordinary long nose feature often through of as a bird mask in venice, italy and is made in the traditional papier-mâché style. The face and nose is painted in antique cream with raised scolls running down the nose and around the eyes, these have been hand painted in gold. Sections of the mask are painted in black or red this adds interest and is in keeping with the customary style of this mask. Little decals decorate the top and sides of this amusing face covering.
