Mad Monday Calls for Mad Costumes!

Mad Monday Costumes - a tradition to the point that it’s almost part of the Aussie culture! A whole bunch of sporting teams, in particular footy codes like the AFL and NRL, plus local footy clubs too, get into the celebrations of Mad Monday when (sadly) their premiership season has come to an end.

If you’ve been ousted, eliminated, wooden spooned…. Then BAM! Mad Monday is on the horizon and wearing fancy dress Mad Monday costumes whilst downing the bevvy’s and hitting the social scene with your team mates is on the cards!

Whether your sports team is celebrating with an overseas trip to a tropical destination or simply having a ‘respectable’ sit down lunch to celebrate the end of the season…. Mad Monday just wouldn’t be the same if you aren’t doing it dressed up in crazy costumes.

There’s been a little bit of hoo-ha about ending the Mad Monday tradition, along with Mad Monday costumes due to some ‘sillies’ out there getting in to a bit too much mischief, but celebrating responsibly whilst still letting your hair down and having some fun is a great way of letting off steam after a hard year of training and performance.

You can still maintain professionalism whilst wearing kick-ass costumes to your Mad Monday shenanigans! After-all, on the field you’re all superstars but we’re all human too, and humans (especially Aussie ones… on Mad Monday) like to have a good time!

Grab some awesome men’s Mad Monday costumes for 2019 now! Your selfies just won’t get Instagram popularity status without some! There are a whole bunch of funny and ridiculous fancy dress outfits to choose from. You can stand out and be the centre of attention or check out some fantastic group themed costumes so you and your team mates can party as a united collective off the field too!

Head out on Mad Monday as a 90’s rapper, a big sookie baby or your favourite superhero. You can also choose really cool animal costumes like a hairy gorilla or a shark. We all know plenty of blokes who get into the cross-dressing scene once a couple of beers have been consumed, so that’s always an option too! Movie character costumes and Morphsuits are always a hit, plus inflatable costumes… Which admittedly can have manoeuvring limitations making them more of a circumstantial fancy dress costume for sure. If you’re the Mad Monday designated driver, you could always wear a beer costume instead of drinking the amber liquid, or maybe a suave Stand Out Suit in a range of colourful and bright styles for your Mad Monday sit down luncheon.

Grab your Mad Monday costumes post haste, gather your team mates and get spunky celebrating or commiserating your end of season sports team status….. we know it goes both ways right…. So just get some fancy dress outfits and take it from there!
