Voodoo is a religion and set of spiritual practises that it believed to have originated in West Africa. It eventually split off into varying different versions due to the African slave trade and such was often mixed with some Christian beliefs and ideas. You'll now hear of more specific practises of the religion, such as Haitian Voodoo and Louisiana Voodoo!
