  • Womens pirate sleeveless dress is made from a stretchy red velvet with gold trim detailing, with an attached black padded belt with shoulder strap, sword loop, and a solid gold coloured plastic belt buckle.
  • Pirate dress skirt is attached at an elastic waistband and features a top layer of black satin, with a panel of black and red striped satin around the bottom, with layers of red and black tulle as an attached petticoat underneath, on top of a black stretch fabric underskirt
  • Buccaneer bolero is made from a black stretch velvet and features cuffs and edging in a ruffled black and red striped fabric with a black ribbon trim.
  • Costume comes complete with a padded red velvet pirate hat with a black and gold glitter ribbon around the edges.

Okay overall

I am a size 10 and 171cm tall and this dress needed a good two inches taken off the sides to fit comfortably like the image. It is also quite long, so the model is very tall for it to be so short in the image. The belt is very cheap compared to the rest of the outfit, and I had to detach it from the dress. The underlay isn't as long as in the image.
The dress ironed well, especially the hat, as it is all squished in a bag, and I could alter it easily. The dress fabric is good and stitched very well, as is the cami.
After altering this dress, I really liked it. As for the length, it was good, as I wore it for work for a kids Halloween Trail.
