If you ever stand on the front lines with a group of screaming Vikings running towards you, you best hope you have your shield at the ready. The Norsemen enjoy smashing into a shield wall with their own wall of circular metal. Then onto the fun part, where everyone gets to stab each other frantically through any gaps. That sounds like a relaxing weekend at a heavy metal music festival to us. That said, the mosh pits of the middle ages were a little more brutal and if you have plans to complete a viking outfit, you would be a fool not to arm yourself with a costume weapon that offers added protection… This costume shield may be made of plastic but you'll be one step closer to victory, or retreat.
