Army ammo belt - modern, but who will notice?

I ordered the ammo belt, and it arrived promptly and in good condition. It's a plastic loop, single casting (so the bullets don't come out). The bullets look late 20th century to me. The belt is what's called "disintegrating metal link", first used (I think) in WW1 aircraft, and as opposed to cloth belts. A geek distinction. A small thing, which may matter if you're thinking steampunk or pretending it's holding ammo for your cowboy character. For modern costume, certainly WW2 and after, perfectly acceptable. It looks fine. Frankly, most folk won't split hairs...
