Deluxe Blue Colonial Era Womens Costume

The first lady of the United States never looked better! Transform yourself into Martha Washington herself for your next colonial era themed dress up party. This deluxe costume dress for women is the perfect choice to transform yourself into sophisticated colonial era lady!

Please note: Does not include gloves, fan, jewellery, shoes or petticoat.
Description:
  • Womens blue stretch velvet colonial dress has a square neckline with a blue satin ribbon attached to the centre of the bust.
  • Blue dress has 3/4 length flounce sleeves with white netting attached in the inner shoulder seams to create a puff look.
  • The sleeves have blue ruffled cuffs layered over longer white cream satin cuffs with blue satin bows on each side.
  • Colonial dress bodice is plain blue stretch velvet on the front and back and has a matching dress skirt attached at the waistline.
  • Front of the dress has an open split down the centre to reveal the long cream satin underskirt.
  • The cream under skirt has a ruffle panel along the hemline adorned with light blue ribbon bows details.
  • To give the the dress skirt additional shape there is short white net peplums attached under the blue velvet layer at the sides.
  • For added versatility, the dress over-skirt can be fastened underneath at the back to create a bustle style skirt.
  • A creamy white mesh net scarf is included as well as a matching mesh mop cap with a light blue bow attached to the front
