Dorothy of Oz Girls Book Week Costume

Follow the yellow brick road down to your school's book week parade in this adorable Dorothy costume for girls. Inspired by Dorothy's outfit in the Wizard of Oz, this classic character is the perfect choice for a book week costume idea. Complete the look with some stockings and red shoes!

Description:

  • Dorothy dress is made from non-stretch blue and white gingham print fabric with a fake undershirt made of stretchy white fabric.
  • Dress has a ruched neckline, short puff sleeves, white buttons at the front, and a velcro closure at the back.
  • Back of the bodice is made of just the plain white stretch fabric.
  • At the front of the waist is an attached white apron front with a little felt dog cut-out stuck onto the apron.
  • Around the hem of the dress is soft white lace.
  • Included headband is covered in white fabric with a blue and white gingham bow attached to the top.
